896 Automatic Extractor

The 896-Series of heavy duty extractors was developed in the early 90’s to meet the die casters’ need for a truly reliable system which occupies minimal space.  Currently, six models are available from the 50” high speed unit to the gigantic 105” stroke mammoth.  All 896 units share the following common design points:

  1. Parallel linkage system which provides linear movements and maximum space savings
  2. Horizontal (gravity immune) linkage arrangement for maximum efficiency and smoothest motion
  3. “Hanging” support mechanism to provide optimal clearance underneath for conveyors, bins, etc.
  4. Crank drive mechanism with linear slider bearings for unparalleled speeds and efficiencies

803 Automatic Extractor

Like the Snair ladling systems, the extractors are gaining rapid acceptance and accolades as units are delivered to many repeat customers around the world.

The recent development and introduction of the 803 high speed extractor raises the standards for all extractors on the market.  With cycles speeds exceeding 700 dry cycles per hour, this cost-effective unit will quickly become a staple of the high volume die caster.  The 803 expands on the time tested design of the 896 extractor by orienting the parallel linkage arrangement VERTICALLY.  This enables the 803 to achieve a smaller overall size to accommodate a broader range of die casting machines.

Snair conveyor Controls

Cooling and Conveying Systems

The Snair parts cooling and conveying systems have been very popular since the early 90’s.  Utilizing a heavy duty solid plate steel (not mesh) belting and a unique cooling “tunnel”, the resulting design is one of high efficiency, low noise, and near non-existent maintenance.  The height-varying cooling tunnel channels the air flow away from the trim press operator and provides highly effective cooling rates with minimal power consumption.  Belt widths are available from 8” to 42” with lengths from 7’ to 20’.  The controls are independent “plug-and-play” when the conveyor is purchased as a stand alone or integrated with a Snair extractor with D-Series controls.  This independent controller allows indexing motion in concert with the extractor.  When purchased with a Snair extractor with G-Series controls, the conveyor controls are installed directly into the main control cabinet
